I was about to write a post about how we are going to hide away and write some more music, but I forgot we still have a few more shows to go this year. One highlight is the Victoria Ska Society’s RUDEFEST! We are super stoked to joing our friends Everybody Left, Bazooka Picnic and MC Unite. Tickets can be bought here at ticketweb.ca

We have taken a nice long rest from an unforgettable summer following Victoria’s 17th Annual Ska & Reggae Festival and now we’re excited to bring you the first installment of our Fall Fun Season with RUDEFEST 2016. This annual tradition that began four years ago will be just as good as last year. We have ska, reggae, funk and punk all in the mix for dancing and fun from the second you set foot in the hall.

You’ll be happy to know as with the tradition with RUDEFEST the show will be all ages w/beverage service for those 19yrs+ w/ID. Those of age will be required to wear an event wristband. And remember to come EARLY so you can catch ALL of the bands. When you have a four band bill you gotta have one start early but that just means there is more fun for everyone!

Dope Soda Bottle Drive Recap

June 1, 2015

So we’re playing at the Tall Tree Music Festival (June 26-28) and the Victoria Ska & Reggae Festival (July 1-5) and we thought we should warm up by looking back at the beers we drank on our BC & Alberta Bottle Drive Tour earlier in 2015.

We’re proud of most of them, but well, sometimes it gets weird on tour. Just ask Steppenwolf.

We’d also like to acknowledge the wonderfulness of both the Longwood Brewery in Nanaimo and the Lighthouse Brewing Company in Victoria. We drank …a lot of your products during this journey. Taaaaaasty. Thank you, and many lubricious winks and cheers your way.

Jam Space Sessions

Dope Jam Space Tunes “Simon the Cat”

February 19, 2015

Here’s the second new song from our Jam Space Sessions! Simon The Cat is an up beat ska shuffle in dedication to my fur-buddy Simon. He’s a pretty chill kitteh but does tend to get a bit wild at night. He runs from one end to the other chasing his toy balls and scaling the scratch mansion. As with all cat lovers, I love my cat and love to take videos of him doin random shit.

So here it is. A crazy cat video song I wrote for a furry little beast!
